I thought this would be a perfect addition to our dinnerware, but unfortunately, Godinger must be able to sell it at such a low price, because they package it so poorly. There is very little packing to separate the rack and ladle from the tureen, and none between the cover and the bowl. Both the original tureen I purchased and it's replacement arrived completely cracked!!!! I had to request a refund from Amazon!

I bought this as a gift for Christmas and it arrived broken. The replacement came without a problem and customer service was very helpful. Love the Tureen. Good quality item.
