I do not think they are my idea of "casserole" size but I do serve my family with these pieces. I like the stand as it prevents the heat from the dish from ruining my table. I would have liked to have lids, but since the servers are so small, there isn't much left over. It can hold enough for 3-4 servings. I use them to serve vegetables and the like.
